December 2020 Options Income Report - $2,692.38

Welcome to the eight (#8) options income report.

The last December we did a total of 57 trades / from which most were credit spreads and covered calls.

There are 43 left open trades with expiry in the next months, with most (37) expiring this January (2021)

We managed to take $2,692.38 from options income during the month of December, which is about 26.92% from our $10,000 goal for 2020.

Also, at the end of the year, we took reached our goal by 95.80%. We were left short by just a few hundred dollars. Despite we didn't fully reach our goal, we feel very glad, and now, when looking at goals for 2021, we are looking at a much higher goal - to reach $40,000, but that's already another story.

All trades are available in the trading journal or under the archive: December 2020

Half of the income will be withdrawn, while for the other half we bought 15 shares of O and 100 shares of PNNT

PNNT is a stock we were holding in our dividend income portfolio in the past, but we, unfortunately, lost this stock during the market downturn in March 2020.

Covered Call on PNNT - Potential income return 6.01% in 169 days (12.92% annualized)

Dividend income

We now hold 0 shares of PBCT  50 shares of O 100 shares of PNNT and $1,200 cash in our dividend stock portfolio.  Once there will be 100 shares of O stock, we are going to sell covered calls on it

The dividend stock portfolio now generates an average of $14.17/mo dividend income.

Trading plan for January 2021 (Option trades & Stock Buys)

We are looking to buy additional 30 shares with VTRS, 20 AMWL, 10 KO and 10 WBA. Also at the end of the month, we will spend half of our options income to purchase O stock

Currently, we are holding: 30 VTRS, 10 AMWL, 50 O,  10 KO and 0 WBA

From covered calls/credit spreads - we are looking to take ~ $2,500 during the month of January.

Goals for December 2021

We like setting goals, and when setting goals for December 2021 options income, we are looking to take at least $5,000 in options income. That would be the double we made this December.
