March 2021 Options Income Report - $5,928.44; Net Liquidity EUR 19,451

Welcome to the eleventh (#11) options income report.

The last March we did a total of 201 trades / from which most were credit spreads and covered calls. Lat month we did a lot of options adjustments, by rolling forward and down both put and call options.

There are 89 left open trades with expiry in the next months, with most (74) expiring this April

We managed to take $5,929.44 from options income during the month of March, which is about 14.82% of our $40,000 goal for 2021. In total, we have already reached about 29.59%. Awesome.

All trades are available in the trading journal or under the archive: March 2021

Half of the income will be withdrawn, while for the other half we bought 16 shares of O, 26 shares of NIO and 6 shares with JNJ. Unlike our other buys, NIO is not a dividend stock, instead, we decided to invest in this stock as we see a huge potential growth value + very hefty options premium.

  • Net Liquidity: EUR 19,451
  • Securities gross position value: EUR 44,068
  • Cash balance: - EUR 6,007

Dividend income

We now hold 34 shares of PBCT;  100 shares of O; 100 shares of PNNT; 67 shares with NIO; 6 shares with JNJ; 32 shares ARCC and $0 cash in our dividend stock portfolio.

The dividend stock portfolio now generates an average of $31.16/mo dividend income.

Trading plan for April 2021 (Option trades & Stock Buys)

We are looking to buy additional 10-20 shares with LI, 10 KO, 6-8 and INTC. Also at the end of the month, we will spend half of our options income to purchase PBCT, NIO and JNJ stocks

For the month of April, we are looking to sell mostly covered calls only on positions already established. We might sell credit spreads on stocks called away.

From covered calls/credit spreads - we are looking to take ~ $2,800 during the month of April.

Goals for March 2022

We like setting goals, and when setting goals for March 2022 options income, we are looking to take at least $3,000 in options income. We hope to get there with more covered calls
