Data source: S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrat companies (effective Apr 30, 2020) Price for stocks as of May 26, 2020

According to the table, there are 5 dividend aristocrat stocks increasing dividend payout for more than 60 years - MMM, DOV, EMR, GPC, and PG.

There are 16 dividend aristocrat stocks with increasing dividend payout for more than 50 years;

  • 37 companies increasing dividend payout for more than 40 years
  • 48 companies increasing dividend payout for more than 30 years

Here at OptionsBrew.com we are selling covered calls/puts on following stocks from the list: T, PBCT, we also like to keep them in our dividend stock paying portfolio.

If we were to establish covered calls with least possible shares (100) in each of the dividend aristocrats lists, it would cost us $744,955, I wouldn't say this is something impossible, this is not even a million dollars. In some of my next articles, I will make some calculations on how much we could potentially earn from buying 100 shares and simultaneously selling 1 covered call on each of the dividend aristocrat list. Without calculations I'm pretty sure the number should stand at least at 20% per year.
